2010 Otter Creek Challenge
With two varsity members missing, two middle school fill-ins, and a first time race coxswain, the VUHS team of Emily Weber as coxswain, Dale Eriksen as stroke oar, Robert Burbo, Jesse Bunde, Rachel Clark, Kelsey Dobson, and Bailey Dieterle took first place. Originally the team was registered in the novice division because there was no one else in the experienced division, but after having the overall fastest time with the closest boat being two minutes and three seconds away the team was moved up to the experienced division.
