The course provides you with in-depth learning opportunities of Native American cultures and requires you to use critical thinking skills in addressing the Overarching and Topical Questions. The course will focus on economic, social/cultural, geographic/environmental, scientific/technological, and political forces that affected these cultures past and present. Issues such as identity and interdependence, conflicts and conflict resolutions, human rights and diversity, and formal recognition will be analyzed.
