Required for freshmen and for graduation.
All citizens need a fundamental understanding of the major civilizations that contribute to our constantly changing world. For this reason, World Cultures is a required course in order to graduate from VUHS. Topics will focus on the different continents, patterns of global change, and finally, the modern world. We shall enrich the curriculum with art, films, hands-on projects, current events, and library research. A successful completion of a thesis paper is required.
