Mount Mansfield Electric (1897 - 1932)

Mount Mansfield Electric had a large tresstle beyond Waterbury Center just below the Green Mountain Seminary. This trestle was some times used by pedestrians as a short cut. This would have been a risky path to take as Mount Mansfield Electric operated both scheduled passenger and non-scheduiled freight.

Here is a picture the newly finnished trestle. Note man hanging off the constuction steam locomotive.
