VSAC - Financial Aid & Managing College Costs Spring 2021

Attention high school juniors & sophomores and their parents/guardians:   Join VSAC Outreach Counselor Carrie Harlow, to learn about financial aid and how to manage the cost of higher education! This event is publicized and geared towards those in the Addison County region, but all are welcome to register and attend!  This Zoom event will take place on Wednesday, May 19 at 6:30 pm.  Please click here to register. NEACAC Spring College Fair

Student registration for the NEACAC Spring College Fairs is OPEN! The NEACAC Spring College Fair will be held on: Sunday, May 16th from 1-3:00 pm EST There are over 180 colleges that are registered to participate in the program. Registration for students  is required, but FREE! To register and for helpful resources, please visit: We recommend registering ahead of the LIVE events. The booths will also be available through May 31, 2021.

The Giving Project - Launchpad NextGen

High school students looking for a way to give back and make a difference in their communities are encouraged to checkout Launchpad NextGen, a free leadership training program for Vermont youth ages 15 - 18. Over the course of 5 weeks, you’ll gain the skills and confidence you need to launch your own giving circle and learn to use the power of collective giving for social change. Youth from around the state are welcome to apply. All training will take place on Zoom. Participants may be eligible to earn community service credits. More information can be found here.

What’s the Story? (WTS VT) empowers young people to become informed, strategic, and empathic change agents on topics of social concern that they choose. At no cost to students or schools, WTS VT nurtures and networks self-reflective young leaders through authentic, challenging, and collaborative work. WTS VT is an innovative, credit-bearing course that invites middle and high school students from across Vermont and beyond to work in teams that are united by a common passion around a topic of social concern.
