Individual Counseling:

As the school counselor, I provide short-term, one-on-one counseling to students to help support their social, emotional, academic and behavioral goals.

Group Counseling:

Over the course of the school year, small group opportunities will be available to students. Group topics could include things like social skills, friendship, or stress management. These groups provide support as they encourage students to socialize with their peers, learn valuable skills and develop a sense of belonging.

Classroom Lessons:

I will be teaching a class for 8th graders called Teen Adventure.  All 8th graders take this class as part of their exploratory rotation.  Topics will include mental health & stress management, healthy relationships and more. I will send home a complete list of topics with more details when your student is taking Teen Adventure.

Consultation with Families:

I am available to talk either by phone or in person and can provide support and resources for all families.

Course Registration for 2022-2023

I have presented information to all 8th graders and they have all received a Course of Studies book and a pink Course Request form.  Links to all registration materials can be found here.  I am currently in the process of meeting with each student to answer questions and help them with their course requests.  Course Request forms are due to me by Friday, February 4.  Please reach out if you have any questions.
