Performance dates are tentatively November 14 – 16, 2019.
The musical is open to students in grades 7 - 12, on the stage or behind the scenes.
The musical director is Robert Demic. Barb Demic will choreograph the production. Cailin O'Hara will be the vocal director and production coordinator. Susan O'Daniel is the music director.
Being in the musical is a big commitment. Rehearsals generally occur after school and on week nights. There are some rehearsals before school and on weekends, depending on the needs and schedules of the actors and the directors. In the early stages of the show, the number of rehearsals a week depends on your role. Closer to the performance date, everyone is at all of the rehearsals. Parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to be a part of the musical in some way. The committees include:
Techies are an important part of the production. We need students on the set, prop, light/ sound, costume and hair & make up crews. Some crews start right up, and others gather a month into production.
There will be more information available at the beginning of the school year about audition workshops, the audition itself and technical crews. Stay tuned!
